hydraulic fluid for front end loader

What hydraulic fluid should I use for the loader. It has a pump that runs off the front PTO and about 2 gallon reservoir for the fluid. I am not a tractor person so thanks for any information. jm. Any cheap tractor fluid or 10 wt oil and would not be unheard of to use 30 wt in something that old. I would not use the transmission fluid.

Remove old oil filter. Apply a small amount of engine oil to the rubber seal of the new filter. Tighten filter quickly until it touches the mounting surface. Tighten filter an additional ½ turn. When a new filter is installed, engine oil typically decreases a little. Ensure that oil does not leak through the seal of the filter, then refill oil.
